Q) How much are music lessons?
A) Lessons are $180.00 for 8 weeks of 30 minute once-per-week private sessions. Most students take at least one lesson per week but some students register for a 1 hour class. You pay your fees once we have secured a time for you take your lesson.

Q) What times are available?
A) Lessons are available Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Generally the early afternoon
hours are scheduled for private school and home school kids/teens and the after 3:00 hours cover
public school kids/teens and adults. The Loft frequently has a waiting list so you will need to get
your name on the list as soon as possible.

Q) How old do you have to be to start taking lessons?
A) There is really no set age to begin music lessons. It really depends on the individual child and we interview both the parents and child to determine if they are ready. The average age of our youngest students is around 8 years old but we have as young as 6. There is no age limit when it comes to adult and it is never too late to start.

Q) Can I buy music lessons for someone else as a gift?
A) Yes. You can buy a book of eight lessons for $180.00. The person you give them to can then schedule their lessons when it is convenient for them. 

Q) What do I need to start?
A) Guitar students will need a acoustic/electric guitar if possible. We have these available at
the Loft for under $200.00 or you can go into San Antonio to find these instruments at most music
stores. We also carry drums for the drum students for under $700.00. Piano students
will need a keyboard and these are widely available at a broad price range. Click here to view
